With an initial investment of 40 million dollars, the Wistron electronics company expands its operations in Ciudad Juárez by building two new industrial buildings.
It is estimated that 3,000 new jobs will be generated, thus reaching a total of 7,400 workers with those who already operate in their original plant.
Wistron is a company of Taiwanese origin dedicated to the manufacture of equipment for the transmission and reception of radio and television signals; as well as wireless communication equipment, although they have also manufactured telephones and computers. The company has operations in Asia, North America and Europe.

The new buildings total almost 4 thousand square meters in the same complex where the company operates in the Río Bravo Industrial Park, to the southeast of the city.
Surface Mount Technology is the process of building electronic circuits, the boards that give life to so many electronics and telecommunications devices. It is estimated that the new projects will use much of this technology.
The new operations are expected to start in mid-2022 and are estimated to be a long-term investment that could be carried out in six stages.

To strengthen the new production process, Wistron turned to the High Technology Training Center (Cenaltec) to look for personnel specialized in new technologies.
“As a TSP (Technical Service Provider) company, it provides state-of-the-art information and communication in product design, manufacturing, services and related systems. Our clients will use their own brand to market the products developed by Wistron in various markets around the world ”, details the organization through its website.
