With an investment of 70 million dollars (mdd), the Korean company MKDC will expand its presence in Coahuila with a new plant in 2024, where it will generate 600 jobs.

The Governor of the entity, Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís, sealed his commitment with Kodako to guarantee its operations through the improvement of indicators, strengthening security and qualified labor.

The company is directed to the manufacturing sector, dedicated to the production of automobile parts; Currently, its Ramos Arizpe plant is a supplier to Tesla, founded by Elon Musk.

For his part, the owner of MKDC, Kwi Seung In, stressed that two years from now they will be producing at one hundred percent of their capacity.

"The investment that MKDC announces today is a clear sign that Coahuila and Ramos Arizpe are fertile ground for business development, and I am sure that it will greatly strengthen the value chain of our local industry," said José María Morales Padilla, mayor. by Ramos Arizpe.

The investment announcement was made during the inauguration of the second plant of the Korean company in the entity. According to the Government of Coahuila, this new headquarters will strengthen the manufacturing processes of aluminum parts for the automotive branch, within the large cluster in Coahuila.
