In the last two years, the value of land around the new Felipe Ángeles International Airport has skyrocketed, going from 350 pesos to three thousand pesos per square meter, 757 percent more, mainly in the municipalities of Tecámac, Zumpango and Nextlalpan, as well as Tizayuca, in Hidalgo, said Aurora Nayeli Corral Manzano, president of the Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals (AMPI) Northeast of the Valley of Mexico.
She pointed out that it is about large ejido lands that are being sold or rented as industrial buildings or to build shopping centers and hotels.
She pointed out that in the areas closest to the airport, ejidatarios are coming together to sell larger plots of land. “It is a good idea for me to sell.
A few years ago, we were going to sell at a thousand pesos per square meter, right now we are planning to receive from two to three thousand pesos. We are ejido, more or less 200 hectares, it is one of the few lands that are still free so close to the airport ”, commented Oswaldo Hernández.

In a tour of Tecámac, the installation of new industrial warehouses and sales or rental announcements on the land that adjoined the airport was observed, as well as an important offer of housing developments in the municipality.
The president of the AMPI pointed out that in 2021 the cadastral values of the houses in Tecámac increased between 30 and 50 percent, compared to 2020.
