The company is an American BPO, which, thanks to the promotion efforts of Vallarta as a technological development pole carried out by the Ministry of Economic Development (Sedeco), will open offices under its two business lines: customer service and technological support.

To ensure its operations in Vallarta, Xtendops foresees the hiring of up to 40 collaborators by the end of 2021, and together with the office it currently has in Guadalajara, it will scale its workforce to 150 employees in the state, leaving a short-term economic spill. of 3.9 million pesos per month for salaries.
Ernesto Sánchez Proal, head of Sedeco Jalisco, said that they are excited about the installation of the second technology company in this city, so the reconversion of the Tourist Port to an innovation development site will make it less dependent on tourism .
Xtendops in an initial phase will be conducting BPO back office operations for its international clients, but in a very close second step it will begin to develop software for these clients in Puerto Vallarta.

This confirms that the proposal to make a change in the vocation of Puerto Vallarta is viable and is advancing at an accelerated pace, we are sure that this will make this region much more resilient.
The arrival of these companies in the region promotes the diversification of the predominant economic activity in the municipality, which is tourism and has been affected due to the pandemic.
Diversification allows them to protect themselves against contingencies such as the one caused by the pandemic, in addition to accelerating their economic reactivation thanks to the salary spill from well-paid jobs.
