Office developments in Mexico report a 10% recovery in the last year

Currently, the construction of offices nationwide totaled 1.2 million square meters of projects, reporting an annual increase of 10% at the end of the last quarter of 2024. Mexico City leads the construction activity in the country with 733 thousand square meters, representing more than 60% of the space under development.

Second position is taken by the Monterrey office market with a total of 200 thousand square meters of works in development, which has significant constructions in the Centro submarket, highlighting Torre Rise with a rentable area of 43 thousand square meters.

For its part, Guadalajara registers 100 thousand square meters under construction, with Nueva Zona Financiera being the submarket with the highest volume of office projects in the development process. Tijuana has 86.6 thousand square meters of projects under construction, which places it as the fourth most relevant market in terms of construction.

Although investments in office infrastructure nationwide have remained cautious, the corporate sector continues to show stability, registering increases during the last year.
