Developers reactivate construction in Chihuahua, betting on high-quality buildings
Chihuahua is an industrial market that reported low activity in the beginning of construction of industrial warehouses, registering only 11 thousand square meters in the last two years.
By the end of 2023, the start of construction reports an increase, with the start of work of more than 50 thousand square meters, diversified in buildings with high-quality infrastructure.

At the end of the first month of 2024, the construction of industrial warehouses in Chihuahua has exceeded 116 thousand square meters. It is important to highlight that all projects in the construction process belong to class A, so in the coming months the supply of buildings with high-quality infrastructure in the region will increase.
The projects currently under construction are mainly concentrated in the Oriente and Norte submarkets, representing 49% and 36%, respectively, of the total buildings in the development process. This strategic distribution underlines the importance and preference of these areas as key foci for industrial growth in the region.

The increase in class A inventory will renew the market infrastructure, allowing it to offer a much more competitive building profile to satisfy current market demand.
Emblematic developers that are betting on this type of projects are companies such as Intermex, American Industries and Fibra Nova, which have projects in the construction phase with sizes ranging from 7 thousand to 45 thousand square meters and that in Most of them are available for the arrival of new industrial investments.
