DEACERO® Group, one of the leaders in the steel industry in Mexico, takes a bold step towards strengthening its presence and productive capacity in the country, withan investment of one billion dollars scheduled for the next three years.

The company plans to build a new steel mill and acquire state-of-the-art machinery and equipment to improve the efficiency of its plants in Saltillo, Coahuila, and its Industrial Complex in Celaya, Guanajuato.

Raúl Gutiérrez Muguerza, president of Grupo DEACERO®, announced this ambitious project, which aims to increase the consortium's steel production capacity by one million 200 thousand tons per year.

The cornerstone of this investment will be the construction of a new, state-of-the-art steelworks in Ramos Arizpe, which will become one of the most modern plants in the world.

The steel mill will be designed to be intelligent, automated and highly sustainable, prioritizing the safety of employees and maintaining high standards of quality, service and productivity.
