The expansion of the Dana Cardanes company in Querétaro was inaugurated. The expansion includes a warehouse with three production lines for Toyota.
Nearly 400 million pesos were invested and it will generate 110 direct jobs, which may exceed 300 jobs once the three lines of the project are working.

Alejandro Sánchez Alvarado, Director of Operations of DANA Cardanes, explained that the new warehouse has 917 square meters and will install three production lines for cardan shafts for use in Toyota trucks.
Currently, more than 38,000 people are part of this company internationally and it has a presence in Mexico through 10 plants, of which the main operation center is located in Querétaro with four plants.
80% of Dana's products, which are machined and assembled in Querétaro, are exported to the United States to complete assemblies and make shafts, cardan shafts and other components that are delivered directly to the assemblers.

In addition, Mauricio Kuri, Governor of Querétaro, commented that he works to develop strategies, areas of opportunity, and collaboration for the automotive industry. While Fernando Martínez Núñez, Manager of the Dana Cardanes plant, recognized the Governor's interest in consolidating the Queretaro industry and emphasized that the expansion will benefit the entity.
