Daimay invests $ 32 million in expansion of the Finsa de Coahuila Industrial Park

Daimay Automotive Interior inaugurated its plants III and IV, in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila; with an investment of 32 billion dollars.

With the entry into operation of these facilities, it is expected that more than a thousand new jobs will be generated in the region.

Located in the Finsa Industrial Park, their construction began in September of last year and now they fully enter the production of headboards and visors for vehicle interiors.

According to Miguel Riquelme Solís, governor of Coahuila, Daimay already adds 150 million dollars and four thousand jobs in the state.

Which positions it as one of the most important automotive companies in the region.

In his speech, the regional manager of the Daimay Campus, Víctor Villarreal Sosa, pointed out that Coahuila stands out for its fertile land, a factor that has driven its expansion and stability.

"Despite the challenges caused by the pandemic, we are one of the fastest growing companies in the region, as we went from one to four plants in less than three years," he said.

For his part, Miguel Riquelme recalled that just over 13 months ago the company also inaugurated Plant II and laid the first stone for the expansion of the company that is already in operation.

The health crisis caused investments to be stopped and speculation about Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) will be created.

However, the governor assured that Coahuila knew how to make decisions, in conjunction with the efforts of all sectors.

In addition, he indicated that this Monday he held a meeting with ambassadors of the European Union; to those who informed that the entity has not stopped producing qualified labor so that they are in a position to meet the demand of investors.
