Cumbres Elite receives investment for sustainable real estate development

Astra, the real estate company of the Gentor Group, will invest seven billion pesos in a sustainable real estate development in the Cumbres Elite area, which consists of five phases that it will carry out in the next 15 years, said Eugenio Fernández Leal, general director of the company .

The real estate development, called Lyra, will be a community that will be built on a 20.4 hectare site at the intersection of Alejandro de Rodas and Calzada Las Callejuelas streets, and the construction of the work will begin in December of this year, to be completed in 2023.

“With this project, Astra returns to the real estate business, it is a development where a self-sustaining mini-city will be built. “Lyra is a development that will transform the dynamics of how to build a city, and of course life in Cumbres. The four parks that will be developed within the 93 thousand square meters of green areas will become the entertainment epicenter for families in the area and its surrounding areas ”, emphasized the manager.

For example, each department will have ultrapure water, since the use of plastic containers and jugs will be eliminated, it will be potable water from the network, but it will have a purification system.

In an interview with MILENIO, Fernández Leal explained that only in sustainable infrastructure they will invest about 800 million pesos. The investment for the first Adhara building will be for 500 million pesos, together with the costs of urbanization, which will amount to 80 million pesos.

He pointed out that the project has five phases, there are 12 buildings and 17 thousand square meters for the commercial area.

The first phase consists of three buildings, the first building is called Adhara, it will have 177 apartments with 3,500 commercial meters.

As part of sustainability, he said that the development will have a cogeneration plant with a capacity of 3.8 megawatts to supply electricity to the 12 buildings with 1,800 apartments and a cultural center in the central part of the park, which will be the heart of the project.

He commented that Lyra's first community will start with Adhara, an 11-story residential tower, a commercial component on its ground floor and 177 apartments of five different types ranging from 40 square meters to 110 square meters.
