With an investment of 600 million pesos, PROMA will establish a new plant in Aguascalientes

The Italian company PROMA formalized its investment of 600 million pesos to establish a new manufacturing operation in the state of Aguascalientes.

The project aims to build a plant dedicated to the production of structural components for vehicle seating systems.

According to official information, the facility will occupy land in an industrial park in the state and will feature specialized technology for the assembly of metal structures that are part of automotive seats.

This project represents one of the most recent foreign industrial investments for the state located in the Mexican Bajío region, an entity that has maintained a steady presence in the automotive sector thanks to its strategic location, skilled workforce, and supplier ecosystem.

The establishment of this plant seeks to meet the growing demand for automotive components in North America, resulting from the continued increase in light vehicle production throughout the region.
