EGO Electronics inaugurated its first facility in Guanajuato, choosing the municipality of Apaseo el Grande, after an investment that included 20.1 million dollars and the creation of 500 direct jobs.

The plant specializes in the production of electronic and mechatronic controls for household appliances, including gas controllers, control tablets for washing machines, power regulators, tubular resistors, induction cooking systems and stove burners, as well as electronic assemblies.

Based in Oberderdingen, Germany, EGO has 100 years of experience in the development and manufacturing of components for household appliances and auto parts.

Germany is the third country with the largest investment in Guanajuato, with an amount exceeding 3 billion dollars, distributed in 64 projects that have generated more than 34 thousand jobs throughout the region.

The opening of this plant marks the beginning of a long-term strategic alliance between the company and the state of Guanajuato, promoting technological development and industrial specialization in the Laja-Bajío region.
