Coahuila stands out in industrial investment in Mexico
Inmobiliare | September 08, 2022 |

Coahuila is a key player for industrial investment, especially the municipality of Ramos Arizpe, reported the Mexican Chamber of the Construction Industry (CMIC).

An example of this was the financing of 100 million dollars (mdd) for the construction of the POSCO plant, in the Amistad Industrial Park in July 2022.

In this regard, JLL Mexico indicated that the Ramos Arizpe region maintains a solid track record in its offer of industrial spaces for Mexico. The reasons for this are the proximity to the United States and the accessibility of real estate investment, they pointed out.

For his part, Miguel Riquelme, governor of the state, explained that this region seeks to ensure the manufacturing sector, especially the construction of electric cars.

On the other hand, the Secretariat of Agrarian, Territorial and Urban Development (Sedatu) began infrastructure works in May 2022, for 253 million pesos, which will attract more capital for the industry.

On this, the authorities indicated that these projects are parallel to the Riquelme commitment, agreed with the industrial sector of Coahuila.

It should be noted that, as of July of this year, the entity finalized 180 investment plans, the amount of which closed at 9 thousand 536 million dollars. However, both the Secretariat and the State Government are confident that the development of better infrastructure will attract new companies to the region.

Another example of growth is presented in the municipality of Nava, Coahuila, where investors seek to build a new industrial park.

In this regard, the official pointed out that some areas have already been dismantled that could attract potential interested companies. In addition, he confirmed that it is a large project that is intended to be carried out in three stages. "I think it is a matter of months in which we can already be opening some of them," said the president.
