The Automotive Directory announced the ten largest real estate investments, from auto parts companies or assemblers, in 2021, according to their declared investment amount in millions of dollars. These are the companies, the state where it was invested and the description.
The first and second positions are occupied by the companies General Motors and Caxxor Group, respectively, both in Coahuila.
The American General Motors made an investment of one billion dollars, for plant expansion, being the largest spill of the year made by an automotive company in Mexico. Meanwhile, the Mexican company Caxxor Group, which operates mainly in the infrastructure sector, will invest 300 million dollars for the construction of two industrial parks in that state, with an area of 400 hectares.

Nuevo León ranks third with the investment made by the Japanese company Kawasaki Heavy Industries, which invested 265 million dollars for the production of recreational, sports and off-road vehicles.
Coahuila is once again home to the fourth US capital company Lennox Industrial, dedicated to auto parts, whose investment of 180 million dollars in Coahuila is part of its expansion for the manufacture of air conditioning and gas-based and electronic heating systems for the sector.
The fifth position is occupied by the developer Meor, a Mexican capital firm focused on the construction of industrial parks that made different investments, with a total spill of 150 million dollars for the development of eight parks in Tijuana, Ciudad Juárez, Ciudad de México, Guadalajara and Monterrey.
Finsa, another developer dedicated to the construction of industrial parks, occupies the sixth position, investing 145.5 million dollars in the state of Tamaulipas, for the purchase of twelve industrial buildings in the Oradel Industrial Center.
The Japanese company Zoltek (Toray), is in seventh place, expanding its production plant dedicated to carbon fiber raw material for large trailers in Jalisco for a total of 130 million dollars.

In eighth place, 'Developer Marabis' achieves the expansion of its industrial park, investing 120 million dollars in Guanajuato, as part of the sixth stage of the Castro del Río Technoindustrial Park.
The ninth place is also located in Guanajuato with the investment of the company ZKW (LG Electronics) that carried out an expansion with a total investment of 102 million dollars, for the production of headlights and lamps; as well as design, engineering, research and development in the sector.
The Canadian company Linamar in Coahuila, dedicated to auto parts, closed this decade. The company spent a total of $100 million to produce transmission parts.
