Kansas City Southern of Mexico (KCSM) and the Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT), met to see the progress in the negotiation for the conclusion of the Celaya Railway Bypass.
Present at this meeting was Ramón Alfaro Gómez, head of the Secretariat for Sustainable Economic Development (SDES); Óscar del Cueto, head of KCSM and the mayor of the Municipality of Celaya, Javier Mendoza Márquez.

The SDES representative reiterated the commitment to continue promoting this Celaya Railway Bypass project, which will be a trigger for other initiatives to boost the regional economy.
The meeting was held at the facilities of Kansas City Southern de México in Mexico City, in which it was confirmed that the company is already reviewing the annexes that are part of this agreement that will be signed shortly. with the SICT.
