The Council of Industrial Chambers of Jalisco (CCIJ) announced that it will invest 2.8 billion dollars to develop infrastructure in key sectors such as food, logistics, electronics, industrial parks and agribusiness.

During a meeting with authorities, the organization declared that it is working hand in hand with the elected governor Pablo Lemus to achieve this project. In this regard, Antonio Lancaster Jones, coordinator of the CCIJ, pointed out that the investment will generate up to 28 thousand direct jobs for the benefit of the state.
In this context, both businessmen and authorities discussed the need to improve the supply of water and energy to meet the investments. In response, the construction of a mega treatment plant was proposed, which will require an initial investment of at least 500 million weights.
