Casas Javer's revenues advanced 3%, to 7 thousand 509.5 million pesos in 2021, driven by a greater displacement of homes sold in the middle and residential segment, which resulted in a 14% increase in the average price of the units , announced in its report for the fourth quarter of last year.

The housing developer reported that profits before financial income, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) grew 8.5%, to one thousand 89.5 million pesos in all of 2021, compared to a previous year.

Regarding the performance of this item from October to December 2021, 273.6 million pesos were recorded, this was 14.3% less than the 319.2 million for the same months of 2020 due to the decrease in the volume of units.

“Financial and operating results for the fourth quarter and 2021 ended better than estimated at the beginning of last year and in line with the guidance presented in the third quarter, consolidating for the second consecutive year growth in EBITDA and a record year in generation of free cash flow with 771 million pesos, twice as much as generated in 2020”, René Martínez, general director of Javer, highlighted through his report.

The units sold last year decreased 10%, adding a total of 12 thousand 865 units against the 14 thousand 302 houses titled in 2020.

This result, explained Javer, was the product of the depletion in some subdivisions, which were not fully replaced by new projects due to the postponement of the purchase of land reserves that occurred in 2020 and the strategy of an improvement in the sales mix. in the higher value segments.

For the fourth quarter, lower sales were registered by 27.8%, totaling 2,931 units, compared to 4,057 homes in the last quarter of 2020.
