Bombardier, an aerospace company of Canadian origin, confirmed that it will expand its facilities in Queretaro, with the addition of 600 jobs. According to the CEO of Bombardier, Éric Martel, the firm made the decision to increase its workforce after visiting the state, who highlighted the characteristics of human capital in the entity.
During his tour in Canada, on the first day of activities, the governor, Mauricio Kuri González, visited the Bombardier headquarters in Montreal, where the company's growth plans were reiterated. In the meeting with directors of the Canadian, they discussed the company's investment plans in the state.

Bombardier was established in Querétaro in 2006, for which it added 16 years of operations in the entity. At its facilities, it manufactures structural components that are key to the company's main commercial aircraft. At the end of August, the Canadian announced that it will maximize its aerospace parts manufacturing operations in the entity.
Mexico is a strategic country for the company's global projects, because it has characteristics such as a highly qualified workforce, in addition to the technological capacity of its facilities and the educational system.

For this project, the system of technical schools that provide support to the industry was taken into account, as well as the sustainability of the supply chain, solid macroeconomic indicators, the installed industry, among other points, highlighted the aerospace firm.
In Mexico, it manufactures world-class components as well as complex systems for Bombardier's Challenger and Global business jets, including the rear fuselage for the flagship Global 7500 aircraft.
