With an investment of 50 million euros, the Balluff company laid the first stone of its new plant in the Santa Fe TecnoPark industrial park, located in the municipality of Jesús María in Aguascalientes.
Balluff is a company of German origin that belongs to the electronics sector and is a leader in the automation of industrial processes. At its plant in Aguascalientes, it will be producing sensors for industry 4.0 for sectors such as the automotive industry, factory automation, and clean energy.

Frank Nomnenmann, general director of Grupo Balluff, announced that the company will generate 700 specialized jobs in the region and the start of operations is planned to be in August of this year.
In an interview for México Industry, Andreas Schönle, Balluff Aguascalientes project manager, explained that this will be a plant that adds value to its products, especially in the line of sensors.
They selected the Santa Fe Tecno Park Industrial Park because it has the accesses and the extension they require for future expansions. The plant will have 15 thousand square meters.

Meanwhile, Andrea López, in charge of the logistics department of Balluff Aguascalientes, explained that Mexico is a country that has various benefits for the growth of the company and that Aguascalientes has various factors that encouraged them to settle in this point, including its strategic location, specialized workforce and willingness to train.
