In order for the industrial zone of Vallejo to increase the attraction of investments, it is sought that the participation of the Mexiquense Private Initiative grows, announced the mayor of Azcapotzalco, Margarita Saldaña Hernández.
He reported that to strengthen the current Vallejo-i plan, as mayor's office they developed an economic reactivation program, where the goal is to increase national and foreign investment for this area.
He assured that he attended the last meeting organized by the Employers' Confederation of the Mexican Republic (Coparmex) State of Mexico, where the attention mechanisms were announced, in legal, administrative and Civil Protection matters for Vallejo, as well as the Friday project of Economic Reactivation.

“It was so that they know the business strategies offered by the demarcation. Create virtuous circles between authorities and businessmen. The Azcapotzalco-Vallejo industrial zone is the largest in Mexico City, it is one of the largest dry ports in all of Mexico, so it would be wonderful to join forces,” he said.
The mayor revealed that as the next point and in order to generate actions that promote investment and economic development "in an orderly and safe manner", she will seek to set up a meeting between Mexican businessmen and the president of the industrial zone.
He stressed that it is the first time that the Government of Mexico City has carried out a care and rescue plan for Vallejo and its industrial zone. "which for a long time suffered a great deterioration, since this area lacked attention in terms of lighting and paving".
The objective of this new project is to establish more companies and thereby generate the most important industrial innovation cluster in the Valley of Mexico.
At the end of 2018, the local authority announced the industrialization project and to date, more than 500 million pesos have been invested in public works and the Private Initiative, close to 6,000 million. Last September, the Vallejo-i Technological Development and Innovation Center (CDIT) began operations.

Without ceasing to point out the importance of the Vallejo-i project, Margarita Saldaña stressed that a part of the plan should be reconsidered, where the coexistence of an industrial area with housing is proposed.
He reported that Azcapotzalco is working on a security plan with its neighboring Mexican entity, Naucalpan. He said that with the municipal president of Naucalpan, Angélica Moya Marín, they seek to implement a comprehensive plan for the roads shared by both demarcations.
