Despite the pandemic, the demand for industrial spaces shows a growth of 20%, said the president of the Coahuila Sureste Real Estate Chamber (CAPI), Raúl José de la Garza.
Although the industrial sector was stopped by the issue of the pandemic, after purchases in the United States will be reactivated as its economy rebounds more than that of Mexico, this generated benefits at the local level.
Given this, of the different real estate sectors, it is industrial activity that has recovered the most, followed by housing, while commercial is in third place; although right now the industrial activity has been affected by technical stoppages.

Ramos Arizpe is one of the municipalities most in demand by the industrial sector, likewise 70% of the warehouses are rented and the rest are warehouses owned by the companies.
Among the parks that are being built is the Chuy María Ramón, while those that are being expanded is Amistad Aeropuerto, by urbanizing lands that were populated with weeds; while another that is growing is that of Alianza in Derramadero and Parque Server in Arteaga.
According to the real estate portal Solili, Saltillo reported a quarterly growth rate of almost 40% in industrial demand as of the third quarter of 2021.
Gross demand for industrial space at the end of the quarter was close to 189 thousand square meters in about twenty transactions, showing an increase of 38% compared to the previous quarter of the same year.

The origin of this demand corresponds mainly to companies in the automotive, logistics and manufacturing sectors.
For its part, net demand culminated in positive numbers, giving a total of over 79 thousand square meters, influenced by the unemployment of around 11 thousand square meters.
