The company Atotech de México opened the doors of its new plant in Querétaro, which represented an investment of more than 169.4 million pesos. The generation of a hundred jobs is expected with this opening.

Peter Frauenknecht, CFO of Atotech Global, highlighted the strategic location of the Airport Industrial Park, which they chose for this location, as one of the strengths for choosing Querétaro as the site for their new plant.

In his speech during the opening ceremony, Marco Antonio del Prete Tercero, head of the Secretariat for Sustainable Development of Querétaro, reported that, of the manufacturing industry, chemistry is the second subsector that has contributed the most foreign direct investment to the state in the first three months of 2022.

Likewise, he emphasized that, from 1999 to the first quarter of this year, Querétaro has attracted more than 1,100 million dollars from German capital, from which Atotech originates, with which the country ranks as the fourth historical commercial partner of the entity.
