Aptiv, the manufacturer of harnesses for electric car fleets, inaugurated its new production plant in the municipality of Linares, Nuevo León, with an estimated investment of 14.9 million dollars (million dollars) where it seeks to generate 942 new jobs.

The expansion has to do with the bank's commitment to talent and innovation, according to Arturo Álvarez, President of the company. In the state, the company has two other facilities in Guadalupe and one more in Linares, where it employs 5,200 people. Aptiv is a company of Irish origin that is dedicated to providing solutions for electrical systems and connectivity for electric cars.

At the inauguration of the plant, Governor Samuel García said that in all economic indices, the state is in first place. "That has created that we are practically opening or expanding a company per week, and sometimes up to two," he said.
Likewise, García Sepúlveda stressed that it is not necessary to centralize only in the Metropolitan Area, but rather seek to promote development poles in other economic regions of Nuevo León such as the north, south, west and citrus.
