The National Customs Agency of Mexico (ANAM) reported through a statement on social networks that next year the construction of a dry port will begin in the municipality of Victoria Tamaulipas, this project seeks to strengthen the logistics infrastructure of the region and promote trade.

The dry port will have a total of 2 thousand hectares, although the first stage covers 55 hectares destined for the construction of warehouses and initial offices, in addition a railroad spur will be included for the movement of cargo, which will be connected with Monterrey and Tampico routes, thus signing a collaboration agreement with Ferromex.
According to Ninfa Cantú, Secretary of Economy of the state, it was reported that the project is in the executive development phase, in addition, she highlighted that the necessary permits have already been obtained for the installation of the fiscalized area.
