Airbus Helicopters informs that it will expand its plant in Querétaro, so its industrial activities will grow in the state.
This decision, by the aerospace company, will create up to 200 new jobs, to support the increase in the production of doors for single-aisle aircraft.
The expansion of the ship is part of an agreement signed between the State of Querétaro and Airbus, this cooperation agreement provides the company with financial incentives to improve the industrial capacity of its manufacturing plant.

"This agreement offers us the possibility to improve our manufacturing facilities and thus optimize costs and maintenance, and maintain workload continuity to better serve our customers," said Laurent Mazoué, executive vice president of the company.
"Airbus has been a great ally of Querétaro for many years, we want to maintain and build a great relationship between both parties," said Mauricio Kuri González, governor of the entity.
Likewise, Laurent Mazoué mentioned that the company's supply chain has a solid and ambitious transformation plan to achieve excellence, for this reason the manufacturing operations in Querétaro are part of this journey.
The Airbus plant in Querétaro was inaugurated in 2013, it is located in the Aerotech Industrial Park; Emergency exits and cargo doors are produced here, as well as bulk for single-aisle aircraft and sub-assemblies for parts of helicopters.

Helicopter and aircraft components and subassemblies are delivered to final assembly lines in Europe.
To date, the Airbus production plant in Querétaro produces nearly four thousand aircraft doors a year, and employs more than 370 people.
