With the intention of seeking opportunities for the development of local suppliers in the aluminum industry, the Secretary of Economic Development (SEDEC), Manuel Alejandro González Martínez, held a virtual meeting with directors of the National Chamber of the Aluminum Industry (CANALUM) , headed by its president Francisco Beltrán Arellano.

In this regard, the head of the SEDEC said that with this approach a means of communication and cooperation is generated to promote the development of this industry in Aguascalientes, finding in the Chamber an ally for the economic and industrial promotion of the state and contributing in this way to attracting new investments.

The state official indicated that the companies that carry out this activity will be encouraged to take advantage of the support and financing programs offered by SEDEC to increase their competitiveness.

They also hope to work together on business agendas, as well as the dissemination of activities such as forums, congresses, business meetings and training courses, among others.

For his part, the president of CANALUM expressed his solidarity to offer the experience and knowledge of the affiliated companies in order to meet the needs related to the search for suppliers of aluminum parts, thereby favoring this sector that represents a great economic impact at the national level.
