AEI plans to develop high-tech industrial parks

With representatives of the Iztapalapa Business Association (AEI), Alejandro Encinas Rodríguez, next Secretary of Planning and Territorial Ordering of Mexico City, shared that the possibility of developing high-tech industrial parks is contemplated in the administration of the head elected government, Clara Brugada.

This objective seeks to promote the creation of jobs and capitalize on the opportunity of relocating companies. The first project in planning will be carried out on the land of the old railway station in Pataco, Azcapotzalco.

The pantaco operation is held by the Mexico group;  It has been discussed with them that they have 80% under concession and 20% under Federal ownership, enough to have an important platform and that they can take advantage of nearshoring, and the direct link with the Felipe Ángeles International Airport.

For its part, the AEI expressed the need to take advantage of abandoned or underused spaces in the city to install new companies and friendly industrial parks.
