Adient will invest 24 million dollars in the State of Mexico

The automotive company Adient presented their investment plans that they have in the State of Mexico, which exceed 24 million dollars for the realization of two important projects.

The developments of the automotive seat supplier company consist of the installation of production lines for the Ford Mach-E and for the electric Ford Explorer model, which will generate around 1,550 jobs.

Sergio Carballo Castillo, regional director of operations at Adient, reported that since 2019 the Lerma Plant has been building Mustang Mach-E seats; Therefore, it is expected that by 2022 they will start the similar project for the Explorer Electric model.

During the investment announcement, Alfredo Del Mazo, governor of the State of Mexico, stated that the company has been in the region for 21 years, and with this injection of capital demonstrates its commitment to continue innovating and positioning the national automotive industry, as well as in the creation of job offers.
