GKN Aerospace invests 10.5 million dollars in Chihuahua

The GKN Aerospace company continues to trust Chihuahua and places the first stone of what will be a new plant in the entity, where it estimates to invest 10.5 million dollars and generate 350 new jobs.

From its new plant in the South Industrial Park, the company will produce components for the aerospace sector.

In his participation, Rien Heule, vice president of GKN Projects, said that since 2012 the company has had a close relationship with Chihuahua and now with this expansion three new assembly processes in the aerospace sector will be carried out, and he thanked the State Government for the facilities to make possible this expansion of operations in the entity.

The state president thanked the GKN executives for continuing to believe in the Chihuahuans and once again giving the entity that vote of confidence to host this new project by choosing this land to reap the fruits of their efforts.

"Chihuahua is an ideal land for investment and prosperity, not only in Mexico, but throughout the world," declared the state's governor, Maru Campos Galván, who also celebrated that the British multinational plans to invest $700,000 in training and specialization of its workers, with stays in the countries with the greatest experience in the production of technology, such as the United States, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
