Novartis will invest 7 million dollars in technology in EdoMex

The pharmaceutical company of Swiss origin, Novartis, invested 7 million dollars in the State of Mexico to equip and enable a High Quality Laboratory in the Interactive Ideas Campus Center, in Naucalpan, in order to promote the development of research and technology in this sector.

Through his Twitter account, the state governor, Alfredo Del Mazo, announced the meeting he held with members of the company, where the project, its impact and the injection of capital that it would represent were presented.

According to information issued by the government of the State of Mexico, the investigation of said laboratory will focus on cardiovascular diseases and their timely care, since these are one of the main causes of death in the country.

It was also announced that, in the next five years, the pharmaceutical company will invest 5 million dollars in the entity for the acquisition of state-of-the-art equipment that "allows the development of pharmaceutical products that improve people's lives", which endorses the confidence of Novartis to continue betting on the competitive advantages offered by the State of Mexico.

Previously, the Swiss company had made public its investment estimates for 2022, exceeding the amount promised to the Ministry of Economy last year, by setting a goal of 16 million dollars for this year.
