5 new industrial park projects in Mexico

After the Covid-19 pandemic, industrial parks gained more strength, due to the growth of e-commerce that demanded more space to produce and store, and became one of the safest investments, so different firms made several square meters throughout the country.

There are 5 recent projects of industrial parks in Mexico that will start operations this: Vesta Park Querétaro, Phase II of the Baja California Wind Farm, New San Martín Texmelucan Park, Horizontec, Celaya and the FEMSA Recycling Plant of the Tabasco Business Center Industrial Park.

Vesta Park Querétaro, made up of 15 stores and buildings, has the objective of creating significant experiences to connect the public with the culture and the brand. It includes a corporate building of 700 square meters and the structure is made up of a ground floor, a mezzanine and an interior office space, a project that recently managed to win the Gold Medal of the XI CIDI BIENNIAL in the category of industrial interiors.

The Energía Sierra Juárez (ESJ) Phase II wind farm, located in the municipality of Tecate, Baja California, is the first cross-border renewable energy project between Mexico and the United States. It was built with an investment of 150 million dollars and generated 1,700 direct and indirect jobs.

Phase II added 26 new wind turbines with a total capacity of 108 MW, and is expected to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by around 170,000 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) per year.

The industrial park in San Martín Texmelucan, still without a name, is carried out by the Government of Puebla with an investment of 300 million pesos for construction that will begin in 2022, with the objective of generating infrastructure for the installation of new companies and investments. of local, national and foreign capital in Puebla.

The company Horizontec made an investment of more than ten million dollars to create an industrial space in Celaya, Guanajuato to produce units of the Halcón II aircraft, 100% Mexican, seeking to consolidate the state's aerospace industry.

The fifth park corresponds to Coca-Cola Femsa, it is called Parque Industrial Tabasco Business Center (TBC). It will be developed in collaboration with ALPLA, which started the construction of a recycling plant in Tabasco, to which it will allocate an investment of more than 60 million dollars (million dollars) and will generate 20,000 direct and indirect jobs.

The facilities will have the capacity to process 50,000 tons of post-consumer PET bottles per year. In addition to up to 35 thousand tons of food grade recycled material, ready to be reused.
