GLN, a company with Portuguese origins, announced the development of its expansion in Mexico, with an investment that totals 195 million pesos. According to information from the plastics company, the new project will be installed in the airport industrial park, Querétaro. In this regard, Rui Sergio Marques, administrator and CEO in Mexico, pointed out that the state was chosen due to its location and infrastructure.

Manuel Carvalho, ambassador of Portugal in Mexico, ruled the business dynamics of the state as an example for the entire country. The relationship between Portugal and Mexico is strong and 160 years of diplomatic ties are being celebrated. The ceremony was presided over by Marco Antonio del Prete, head of the Secretariat of Sustainable Development (Sedesu), representing Governor Mauricio Kuri. During the event, the official stated that the state is on the right path and has a promising future.

Finally, it was mentioned that the state maintains industrial and business growth hand in hand with environmental care, given that these new facilities will generate 64 new jobs, which are added to the 117 jobs that the company already had.
